Arvydas Pacevičius is the Senior Dean for Scientific Affairs in the Faculty of Communication at Vilnius University, and a lecturer for the Institute of Library and Information Science.

His research interests: the history of information and communication, the history of libraries, the culture of books, phenomenology, the sociology of books and the culture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
