Asta Petraitytė
Historian Asta Petraitytė studied at Vytautas Magnum University where in 1997; she earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and in 1999; a Master’s degree in History. Since 1999, she has worked at the S. and S. Lozoraičiai museum at Vytautas Magnum University.
Her main research areas: the history of Lithuanian diplomacy and the activity of the foreign diplomatic corps in Lithuania in 1918-1940 and the history of Lithuanian diplomatic service in emigration in 1940-1991. The articles on these themes have been published in the publications Darbai ir dienos (Works and days), the Kaunas History Chronicle and others. The themes have also been presented in conferences.
A. Petrautytė is the compiler of the document set VLIK‘as ir Lietuvos diplomatinė tarnyba išeivijoje.
