Audrius Paura
Audrius Paura was born in 1982 in Vilnius. In 2005 he gained a Bachelor’s degree in History at Vilnius University. He then received the DAAD scholarship and continued his studies in Germany. In 2008 Audrius Paura gained his Master’s from the University of Konstanz in Politics and History. As part of his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Audrius Paura also studied at the University of Hanover (2004) and at Charles University in Prague (2007/08). In 2009, Audrius Paura took an internship in the German Bundestag.
Research interests: theory and history of international relations; foreign policy analysis; transition to democracy in Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2006, the publishing house “Versus aureus” published the debut work of Audrius Paura “Lietuva Veimaro Respublikos ir Trečiojo Reicho užsienio politikoje” (Lithuania in the foreign policy of Weimar Republic and The Third Reich). This is an introductory study about bilateral relations between the Republic of Lithuania and Germany from 1918 to 1940.
