Barbara Erskine is the author of the bestsellers “Lady of Hay”, “On the Edge of Darkness”, “Kingdom of Shadows” and many other novels, which are translated into more than twenty languages. The author studied Scottish history at Edinburgh University and now lives in Wales and North Essex.

In 2007, the publishing house “Versus aureus” published the writer’s novel Šnabždesiai smėlyje (Whispers in the sand).
