Rasa Andriušytė-Žukienė is an art critic, a Doctor of humanitarian sciences (2000), a member of the Lithuanian Association of Art Historians and the International Association of Art Critics (AICA), and a lecturer at Vytautas Magnum University. In 1986, she graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Fine Art and from 1987 to 1993; she worked at the National Museum of M. K. Čiurlionis in Kaunas. She has organized several exhibitions of the works of M. K. Čiurlionis and his contemporaries and has written articles in the foreign press on various questions of the history of 20th century art and contemporary art. The study, M. K. Čiurlionio kūryba dviejų epochų sandūroje (The works of M. K. Čiurlionis in the joint of two epochs – “Versus aureus” publishing house) is the author’s first monograph.
