Stephan Collishaw
The British writer for the younger generation Stephan Collishaw was born in 1968.
Even as he fell in love with books, he had to work the dirtiest jobs because he was not good at studying. However, in 1989 he started to study at Goldsmith College, where, with the help of his elder brother, he discovered a completely new world of art and culture.
In 1995, he stayed in Vilnius, Lithuania learning how to drink, dance and spend time with his friends at coffee shops. In 1996, he moved to Palma de Mallorca in Spain where he lived with his family.
In 2001, S. Collishaw won the East Midland humanitarian science writer’s prize and earned a Master’s degree from Notts Trent University.
In 2003, he published his novel “The Last Girl” where the scene is set in Vilnius. A year later, his second book “Amber” was published. Currently, the author lives in Nottingham, England.
In 2005, the publishing house “Versus aureus” published his novel Paskutinė mergina (The Last Girl). It was translated from English language by Danguolė Žalytė.
