„Blackberry Wine“ 

The publishing house presents the second volume of the “food trilogy” (Chocolate”, “Blackberry Wine” and “Five Quarters of the Orange”) by the author of bestseller “Chocolate” Joanne Harris – the novel “Blackberry Wine”.

Jay - a writer of pulp fiction with just one literary success to his name is stuck – he cannot write a single word.

Then one spring day he remembers his old friend Joe and he becomes the inspiration for a novel. A strong wave of nostalgia drives Jay into the cellar, where he dusts off six bottles of Joe's homemade wine. The taste of the old wine changes Jay‘s life – he then buys an old farm in a French village. He begins to cultivate his garden and rebuild the run-down farm; slowly he gets acquainted with his neighbours who become the characters in his new novel. As the novel progresses, his friend Joe appears as an old man, coaxing Jay to change his life.
