„Castles of Cardboard“ 

Art appraiser María José Sánchez gets a disturbing call from an old classmate and former boyfriend telling her a friend of theirs has committed suicide. The news takes María José back to when the three of them were art students, embroiled in a lovers' triangle. Feelings of jealousy, bitterness, and loss come to a boil in her memory.

The well-known author now offers a novel set in the innocent and exalted Madrid of the 80’s, with all its excesses and dazzle – along with the lost innocence of young love.
