One of the most interesting Lithuanian prehistoric themes, and shrouded in misconceptions, is amber. Its history follows along the rise and fall of the cultures on the East Coast of the Baltic Sea. Otherwise amber is the theme that both our ancestors and modern day researchers unconsciously take out of our country into often rather less-known countries. This book offers a new aspect of amber: exchange, the format of exchange that can change the development of entire regions, their lifestyle, cultural values of the partners participating in it.
