Cultural historian Nina Witoszek was born in Poland but has lived in several countries. She works in the Centre of Cultural Studies at Oslo University and at Galway University College in Ireland, as both scientist and a writer.

In 2006, the publishing house “Versus aureus” published the book by Nina Witoszek, Norvegija. Gamtos mitologija (Norwegians. Nature’s mythology) in which the author applies the methods of distant cultures’ analysis and reveals the rather curious way of Norwegian activity and thinking.
